The Boston Celtics were one of the top teams in the East before the season had to be suspended due to the coronavirus. Nowadays, the team faces a different kind of opponent as the league is still shut down due to the coronavirus.

With the imposed community quarantine, it's becoming more difficult to keep morale up. Since players have to stay isolated, it's become a lot tougher to keep the teammate chemistry high.

As written by NESN's Abigail Adams, Celtics big man Enes Kanter thinks team cohesion is one of the most important things that teams should work on:

“Maintaining the chemistry of our team, which is important to all of us,” Kanter told FOX News on Sunday. “We have regular Zoom conferences with all the team, as obviously we can’t hang out and see each other, but it is crucial to keep up team chemistry. And, once a week, the Celtics bring on a different motivational speaker to talk about handling stress, which has been awesome.”

The Celtics are third in the league with a 43-21 record and are on pace to make a decent playoff run. Jayson Tatum has been a revelation for these Celtics, blossoming into an All-Star caliber player in his third season in the NBA. Kemba Walker, Marcus Smart, Jaylen Brown, and the rest of the Celtics are also doing their part to help the team win.

Should the season continue at a later date, it would be important for these Celtics to keep their chemistry up and finish the season strong. If they manage to do that, then an NBA Finals appearance isn't out of reach.
