Boston Celtics wing Jaylen Brown went airborne during the second quarter of Tuesday's contest against the Golden State Warriors, rocking the rim with a thunderous jam.

That dunk was worth every syllable of ‘Wooooo' slapped on it by commentator Chris Webber, who cut off sideline reporter Caron Butler in order to give appreciation to the slam Jaylen Brown unleashed.

There could have also been a foul called on the jam, as Brown's arm appeared to get clipped as he rose toward the rim. Ultimately, he'll take the jam, the two points and the highlight.

Brown has had a seesaw campaign maybe unlike any other player in the league during 2018-19, fluctuating between Boston's starting five and bench, trying to find some level of comfort on a squad in which shots have not come easily. Averaging 18 points and 14.6 field-goal attempts per game during the postseason last year, Brown has seen those averages dip to 12.7 points on 10.8 shot attempts per contest in the regular season.

Whether he's filling a complimentary role as a starter or leading the charge for the second unit, dunks like this can only energize Brown's game. His shaky regular season performance can be wiped away come the playoffs, even as the Celtics attempt to gather their bearings in a crowded Eastern Conference.

Brown, still just 22 years old, could potentially serve as Boston's X-factor in their quest to claim the Eastern Conference crown that they came within one game of last season.
