With no sports to watch, sports fans are craving for any kind of sporting content that's available out there. Fortunately, Los Angeles Chargers safety Darwin James was more than happy to oblige the fans' demands and won a competition involving other NFL players.

He won a Madden tournament that's meant to raise funds for the support of various COVID-19 relief efforts. It was a tournament that featured a smattering of other NFL players who participated in the name of charity. The Chargers are happy with James' achievements that they shared his success in the tournament on their Twitter page.

The safety faced Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreke Hill in the finals. According to Chargers Wire's Gavino Borquez, it was a proper battle between the two. James reportedly managed to keep the Super Bowl-winning wideout to a low score when he managed to score so easily against his opponents during the preceding rounds.

Hill's three scores when he scored more than a hundred points during the previous rounds was a testament to how well he was able to play defense.

The best part about the entire thing was that he used the San Francisco 49ers to win the tournament. Some Niners fans would laugh bitterly that James was able to finish what their team couldn't during the Super Bowl.

The tournament offers a great respite from the current chaos that is surrounding the world. Surely, James and the rest of the NFL will not let their respective communities down as they continue to fight the disease as one.
