The Los Angeles Chargers are dominating the Cincinnati Bengals early in this game. However, it might have come at a cost. Joey Bosa went down with a head injury and the team has been awaiting his official status. Hopefully, he's alright, as LA needs him on the field if they hope to be competitive.
According to David J. Chao, “Joey Bosa is unlikely to return for Chargers today.” Bosa is a monster on the defensive line but has struggled with concussions so far in his young career. This is not an ideal situation for Los Angeles, as losing Bosa late in the season could be the difference-maker for their playoff run.

There is no timetable for his return, as Bosa is going through concussion protocols. Things aren't looking great though and he could be in line to miss some time. It depends on how serious the concussion is, but the Chargers are likely to be cautious regardless. LA is in the race for a playoff spot and they'll want Bosa as healthy as possible for that stretch.
The Chargers' pass coverage has been phenomenal this year, but much of that can be credited to Joey Bosa's ability to bother the quarterback. His presence alone is a massive advantage for Los Angeles. Not having him on the field could be what the Bengals need to get back into this game.
