Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen apparently doesn't think much of Le'Veon Bell's skills behind the mic, taking to Twitter to respond to a preview clip posted by the New York Jets running back:

Bell did not seem to happy about Allen's tweet and responded with this:

Allen then told Bell that he was not trolling and that he “speaks facts.”

I've gotta say, this seems like a pretty weird way for an NFL rivalry to develop, but we are all here for it.

Bell has made his interest in the rap game no secret, as he has been recording songs for quite some time now. The 27-year-old also made one of the biggest decisions of his life last month, signing a four-year deal with the Jets in free agency.

The three-time Pro Bowler did not play at all in 2018, as he held out the entire season due to a contract dispute with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Bell, who played his collegiate football at Michigan State University, was originally selected by the Steelers in the second round (48th pick overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft.

His best season with the club came during his second year in 2014, when he racked up 1,361 yards and eight touchdowns while hauling in 83 receptions for 854 yards and three scores, earning a First-Team All-Pro selection in addition to a Pro Bowl appearance.

Meanwhile, Allen himself has made back-to-back Pro Bowl appearances, most recently catching 97 passes for 1,196 yards while reaching the end zone six times this past year.
