The Los Angeles Chargers appear to be getting multiple players back in their offense this Sunday. Among them, Mike Williams is expected to play in Week 5 versus the Denver Broncos per Adam Schefter.

Last Sunday, Williams was inactive due to a back injury that he sustained during Week 3's contest against the Houston Texans. After having another week to recover, the Chargers wide receiver is anticipating a return to the lineup in Week 5.

Coming into this season, Williams was expected to see an increased role in the offense due to Tyrell Williams departing in free agency. Instead, the third-year receiver has struggled to carve out a consistent role this season.

In the three games he was active in, Williams has corraled eight receptions for 157 yards and zero touchdowns for the Chargers this season. Nonetheless, he will attempt to improve his numbers this Sunday versus the Broncos.

Last year, Williams managed to post 43 receptions, 664 yards, and 10 touchdowns. However, the Clemson product achieved those numbers as the third receiver in the offense. Everyone should've known that it was going to be tough for Williams to score a touchdown at the clip he did in 2018.

Considering Keenan Allen could garner Chris Harris Jr. on Sunday, Williams may see an increased target share against the Broncos. Additionally, Travis Benjamin is listed as questionable with a hip injury this week.

Benjamin, along with Williams, also missed last week's game versus the Miami Dolphins due to injury. It remains to be seen if he partakes in Sunday's game against the winless Broncos.
