The Los Angeles Chargers and the Jacksonville Jaguars have been in a very exciting back-and-forth game. Justin Herbert and Jalen Guyton added to the fireworks.

Late in the third quarter, the Chargers found themselves down 29-22. Herbert was not having any of that.

He connected with Guyton on a 70-yard touchdown pass to tie the game.

What an incredibly gorgeous pass right there. Put it right in the basket. Led his receiver so Guyton could keep running, then Guyton did the rest by putting on the burners.

The wide receiver is certainly a deep threat for the Chargers. He now has three touchdowns on just 8 receptions this season. He's also surpassed 250 receiving yards this year. While he is not targeted often, when he is – Guyton produces big.

So far, Herbert has certainly exceed nearly all expectations with the Chargers. He has been incredible since taking over the starting role, and it appears that he is only getting better.

He now has over 300 passing yards and three touchdowns in the game, compared to no interceptions. Those are not the type of numbers you really expect many rookies to put up. But at this point it really does not seem all that surprising when Herbert does something like that for the Chargers.

On the year, Herbert now has 12 touchdown passes in just five games. He has truly been unstoppable and it really looks like the Chargers have their franchise quarterback of the future.

Getting him immediately after enjoying Philip Rivers for so long gives the Chargers a bright future.
