Tyreek Hill's legal situation remains uncertain. As the Kansas City Chiefs began offseason activities with the three-time Pro Bowler in attendance, though, Andy Reid still has no update on his ongoing legal status.

“I know you’re going to potentially ask about Tyreek,” he said on Monday, per The Kansas City Star. “Tyreek is here. I don’t have anything further to tell you from the statement we put out. There’s been no new news on it. I’m going to leave it at that. I have had a chance to say hello to him. I have done that. And again, see him in the meeting.”

In March, Overland Park police, the Johnson County District Attorney's Office, and the Kansas Department for Children and Families confirmed they are investigating Hill for alleged incidents of battery and child neglect or abuse. News of Hill's involvement in a domestic abuse incident was first reported by The Star.

In response to confirmation of the investigation, the Chiefs released a statement acknowledging they were aware of the investigation and were cooperating with authorities but would have no further comment. Reid said on Monday that Kansas City is approaching the offseason as if Hill will be available to play next season.

This is the second time Hill, who established himself as one of the league's best receivers last season with 87 catches for 1,479 yards and 12 touchdowns, has been accused of battery. In 2014, while a student at Oklahoma State, Hill pleaded guilty to domestic assault and battery by strangulation after Chrystal Espinal, now his wife and girlfriend at the time, accused him of punching and choking her. She was pregnant with the couple’s son during the assault.
