Star wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, the newest member of the Kansas City Chiefs' wide receiving corps, knew he was in for a real treat playing with superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes in the 2022 NFL season. However, Smith-Schuster wasn't ready for his epic first impression of Mahomes. Charles Goldman of Chiefs Wire has the details.

“Today he did the no-look pass and I just like (stunned),” Smith-Schuster said. “He got me and I was on the sideline. I guess everyone saw it, I thought I was the only one who saw it. But (Patrick Mahomes) got our linebacker (Willie) Gay and it threw him off, thinking he was going outside, but he went inside. It was just like, ‘Wow.'”

Smith-Schuster said that Mahomes threw one of his trademark, no-look passes at practice the other day, leaving the former Pittsburgh Steelers wideout “stunned.”

Smith-Schuster watched as Mahomes fooled Chiefs linebacker Willie Gay. No disrespect to Ben Roethlisberger, Smith-Schuster isn't exactly used to these types of throws.

However, as he said after playing with Mahomes in the Pro Bowl, he knew that these types of throws and plays- the ones that catch you off guard- are what to expect when playing with the Chiefs star.

Smith-Schuster found that out quickly after this epic first impression.
