Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt appears to have found himself in hot water. According to a report by the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Hunt has been accused by a 19-year-old woman of shoving and pushing her during an altercation in Cleveland.

Abigail Ottinger, 19, of Middleburg Heights, told police that Hunt assaulted her around 3:45 a.m. Saturday outside Hunt's hotel apartment, but another woman who was with Hunt's friends said that Ottinger assaulted her, police reports say.

A police report has listed both Kareem Hunt and Ottinger as suspects, and that Cleveland police is considering the nature of the incident as a cross complaint.

Cleveland police Sgt. Jennifer Ciaccia said the incident appears to be a cross complaint, meaning that each person who said they were assaulted would be directed to the prosecutor's office if they wanted to pursue charges.

According to the report, Ottinger and her friends were along with Hunt and his friend on a party bus during what seems to be a bar-hopping night in Cleveland. The group went to Hunt’s apartment thereafter, where Hunt’s friend said that they told Ottinger and her friend to get out after learning that both were both only 19. While Ottinger and her friend left the apartment, the two stayed in the hallway, where the reported incident happened.

Hunt is coming off a solid rookie season in which he rushed for 1,327 yards and scored eight touchdowns on the ground, while also earning a spot in the Pro Bowl. He also had 455 receiving yards and three touchdown grabs.
