Good news for Kansas City Chiefs fans: Travis Kelce is apparently 100 percent healthy and ready to go, per Charean Williams of ProFoootballTalk.com. In fact, Kelce even reported to training camp early to get some extra work in before everybody else arrived.

The rest of the Chiefs will get to camp on Friday. Travis Kelce had offseason surgery on his ankle, but he was able to avoid the PUP list to begin camp, and it doesn't seem like his ankle will be an issue. Kelce has been able to stay remarkably healthy even with his bruising style of play; he has missed only one game in the past five seasons.

The star tight end has frequently been banged up, but he always managed to gut through injuries. Kelce established himself as one of the game's best tight ends a few years ago, but he had his best season yet in 2018.

Paired with Patrick Mahomes for the first time, Kelce put up gaudy numbers in the Chiefs' historic offense. He finished the year with 1,336 yards and 10 touchdowns, which were both career highs.

Travis Kelce has put up at least 1,000 yards in three straight seasons. There's no reason to think he'll take a step back in 2019, especially with Mahomes under center. Kelce is still only 29, so he's still in the prime of his career.

The Mahomes-Kelce partnership should be something we will be treated to for years to come. The fact that Kelce is getting there days before everybody else is the latest sign the Chiefs don't plan on slacking off after their record-setting 2018 campaign.
