In Friday's press conference with the media, Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill called out former Olympic runner Usain Bolt and has made the claim that he would beat him in a 40-yard dash.

This whole debate started when Pat McAfee invited the former Olympic gold medalist to his podcast. At one point in the session, McAfee bought up some of the fastest players in the NFL including Hill and then he said this:

Once “the fastest man alive” made this statement, the cheetah came out and said the following in a short but sweet tweet.

When the Kansas City Chiefs drafted the former wide receiver from Oklahoma State, they expected to get a speedy wide out who can run gadget plays and provide a dangerous weapon for the special teams unit. However, they got something more. Not only did they the fastest player in the league, but one of the best receivers in the NFL. With multiple players attempting to beat Hill one-on-one (whether it be cornerbacks or other wide receivers), no one has even matched his running abilities.

However, Bolt's recent statement ignites an argument that has been made around the league: Would the fastest man in the NFL beat out some of the fastest people on the planet? If and when both of these speedy athletes decide to finally race, it could provide all fans alike where Hill would stand in terms of being the fastest out there.

Let's see where this trash talk leads to. Because if it continues to heat up, then we may get to see one of the best races of the century.
