The Kansas City Chiefs grabbed their seventh win of the season pushing past the Denver Broncos 30-23 on Sunday afternoon that has kept them the best mark in the AFC. However, it came at a bit of a minor cost with star wide receiver Tyreek Hill suffering a groin injury in the contest that he wasn't able to play the rest of the game, according to NFL.com.

Kansas City Chiefs star wide receiver Tyreek Hill strained his groin during Kansas City's 30-23 win over the Denver Broncos, per coach Andy Reid. Hill finished the game with three catches for 70 yards.

This is a situation that the Chiefs will keep a close eye on as Hill is a huge part of the puzzle offensively behind his explosive playmaking ability. He is one of the fastest players in the league that has shown that he can create separation on any play that can change the momentum of a game. Hill has taken that to the next level this season behind his play on the field as he has hauled in 44 catches for 705 receiving yards seven touchdowns through eight games played.

He had finished with three receptions on four targets for 70 receiving yards before exiting the game due to the injury, which has pushed him to notch more than 50 receiving yards in each contest this year. Given his huge role in the offense, the Chiefs will likely take the precautionary approach with the situation in order to ensure it doesn't linger on much further than hoped.

If he were to miss any playing time, this would see an increased role in the passing game for wide receiver Sammy Watkins and tight end Travis Kelce. Watkins is coming off his best performance of the season with eight catches on nine targets for 107 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
