Antonio Brown could be nearing his exit from the Pittsburgh Steelers. Reports have stated that the franchise would like to have a deal in place by the weekend, although there is no telling which teams are the current front-runners to acquire the superstar wide receiver.

According to a new report from Jason La Canfora, the Kansas City Chiefs would like to swing a deal for Brown if the Steelers would be open to dealing with them.

Getting the Steelers to trade Brown to the Chiefs won't be easy. They have made it clear that they would prefer to deal him to the NFC or to a non-contending team in the AFC. Kansas City was one of the best teams in the NFL last season and acquiring Brown would help them compete against Pittsburgh.

Brown put together another good season in 2018 with the Steelers. He caught 104 passes for 1,297 yards and 15 touchdowns. Unfortunately, the drama hit him ahead of Week 17 and he ended up getting benched for the season finale.

After a month of debating, the Steelers made the decision that it would be best to part ways with Brown.

Patrick Mahomes won the NFL MVP award for the 2018 season. Giving him a target like Brown alongside current star wideout Tyreek Hill would be lethal. There would not be a better offense in the league if that move was made.

All of that being said, it will be interesting to see where Brown ends up. Teams like the Oakland Raiders, San Francisco 49ers, and Green Bay Packers have been named potential landing spots.

Add the Chiefs in as a team that would love to swing a deal with the Steelers.
