With the NBA playoffs right around the corner, teams across the league are fighting for a spot in the postseason. One of those teams is the Los Angeles Clippers, who just so happen to be in third place in a stacked Western Conference. With Kawhi Leonard and Paul George leading the way, one would think the Clippers are a legitimate contender this year. However, it seems as though Charles Barkley shares a different opinion on the Clippers, per Bleacher Report. Barkley goes off on a rant about how much the Clippers “suck” and doesn't hold back take by any means.

Barkley caught some heat for this take and tried to fix it up by talking about the Clippers organization as a whole. To be fair, in history they haven't been the best team at all. They have only two division titles in 2013 and 2014 and have never won an NBA Championship.
However, they are a solid team this year and should be considered a title contender. To say otherwise is quite questionable. Of course, Barkley backs up his take in a hilarious fashion. Even so, this year is possibly the best chance the Clippers have ever had at obtaining a championship.
What made Barkley's comments questionable, is that he made these claims about the Clippers the same night they defeated the Phoenix Suns. The Suns are a team that's ranked higher than the Clippers, but Los Angeles proved their worth for the third game in a row, beating three top teams in the West back-to-back-to-back.
They aim to receive their first championship this season to finally step out of the shadow of the Los Angeles Lakers. Catch their next game against the Houston Rockets on Friday night, in which Los Angeles should be able to elongate their win streak to four.
