All summer long, we have been waiting to see Kawhi Leonard and Paul George on the floor together. Now, it looks like that may be coming to fruition.

With the Los Angeles Clippers getting set for an East-West showdown with the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night, big man Ivica Zubac is hinting that Leonard and George will both be active for the game:

“Finally. It'll be great,” said Zubac, according to Jovan Buha of The Athletic. “We're really good with only Kawhi. We're really good with only PG. You put them two together, it's gotta be good. We'll see it tonight. But I'm really excited.”

So, barring a last-minute change, it certainly looks like Leonard and George will both be playing, as Zubac seemed to make it pretty clear that the two stars will be teaming up against the Celtics.

George finally returned from offseason shoulder surgery last Thursday and has played three games since, averaging 29.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game while shooting 56.3 percent from the floor, 52.2 percent from three-point range and 95.7 percent from the free-throw line.

However, Leonard has been sidelined while resting his sore knee, something that has raised a whole lot of hairs across the NBA landscape.

Whether or not you are okay with Leonard's load management, you can't deny that a duo of Leonard and George has infinite potential, and it's looking like we will get to see the tandem make its long-awaited debut on Wednesday evening.

The Clippers are 9-5 on the year. Meanwhile, the Celtics are 11-2.
