Los Angeles Clippers guard Lou Williams and forward Montrezl Harrell are among two of the three finalists for the Sixth Man of the Year award, along with Oklahoma City Thunder guard Dennis Schroder.

This is the second consecutive season that both Williams and Harrell have been named finalists for the Sixth Man of the Year award. Williams and Harrell have both been lethal for the Clippers this season, averaging 18+ points per game off the bench. If the stats stay consistent during the final seeding games in the Orlando bubble, they'd become the first duo in NBA history to average 18+ points per game off the bench.

Williams, 33, is averaging 18.3 points, 3.1 rebounds, and a team-high 5.7 assists per game. On the other hand, Harrell, 26, is averaging a career-high 18.6 points per game to go along with 7.1 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game. Furthermore, Harrell is shooting an astonishing 58 percent from the field, which ranks sixth in the league.

This past week, Williams told reporters that he wouldn't mind sharing the award with Harrell:

“Over the years, we've made history, and we're on the No. 2 team in the West,” Williams said. “We've sacrificed and we've still been able to be successful, and as for conversation— whatever reason, we are not one of the top guys in that conversation.

“I feel like we both deserve it. I really would love to share that award with Trez, and if not share it, I say give it to him outright.”

The winner for the Sixth Man of the Year award will be announced during the 2020 NBA playoffs, which are set to begin on August 17.
