Paul George reportedly had a strong opinion about the chance to return home and join Kawhi Leonard on the Los Angeles Clippers.

Leonard has finally made his choice on where he'll play next season, with the Clippers luring him away from the Toronto Raptors.

However, one of the biggest reasons behind Leonard's decision was the Clippers' ability to also add George.

And while it wasn't easy for George to pursue a trade from a franchise he'd created a strong bond with, the opportunity to return to Los Angeles was simply too tempting.

From ESPN's Ramona Shelburne:

It was clear that Leonard made recruiting George a top priority during the free agency process, and the two were both able to find a way to join the Clippers.

While many wondered whether Leonard would ultimately choose to join LeBron James and Anthony Davis on the Los Angeles Lakers, he obviously had other plans in mind.

And with Leonard and George leading the way, the Clippers have undoubtedly become an NBA title contender.
