When Paul George missed a crucial free-throw in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals, the camera zoomed in on Los Angeles Clippers owner Steve Ballmer looking sad and heartbroken. After all, with the failure, the team fell -1 against the Phoenix Suns.

On Monday, however, George made sure to turn Ballmer's sad face to a happy one with a historic playoffs performance that only a few players have achieved. After leading the Clippers to a 116-102 victory in Game 5, PG13 then shared a moment with the team owner.

No camera zoom-in was needed to show Ballmer's reaction, as he was clearly hyped and ecstatic for the victory that cut the Suns' lead to just one game.

Indeed, credit should be given to Paul George for another sensational display of brilliant basketball and resilient mentality that has defined the Clippers in the 2021 playoffs.

George finished with 41 points, 13 rebounds and six assists, which are all team highs. He basically carried the whole Clippers as they prevented the Suns from coming back multiple times in theĀ  contest.

In the process, PG13 became just the fourth player after Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant to score 20-plus points in the first 18 games of the playoffs.

The job is far from over for the Clippers as they try to erase the massive hole they put themselves in. With the way George played in Game 5, though, Steve Ballmer and the LA fanbase will certainly have high hopes come Game 6.
