There was a wild sequence at the end of the game between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Miami Heat where Clippers guard Reggie Jackson took center stage. Jackson, who was confused as hell, almost cost his team the game when he called a timeout with under 30 seconds left in the game with L.A. up by six.

The thing is, the Clippers had no timeouts left which gave the Heat a window of opportunity to steal this game away from the Clips.

Check out Jackson's wild Chris Webber moment here:

Jackson was beside himself after the blunder and was visibly upset with his crucial mistake. Clippers center Serge Ibaka took time to talk to his point guard and gave him some NBA wisdom, which head coach Ty Lue echoed after the game.

The Heat was awarded a bonus free throw which Tyler Herro knocked down and Bam Adebayo converted a bucket in the ensuing play which meant Miami was just down three to the Clippers with still 20 seconds to go.

Jackson though was able to collect himself after his huge error as he was able to knock down a crucial free throw on the next play to give the Clippers a two-possession lead and eventually sealed their 109-105 win.

The point guard was making his third start of the season for the Clippers and actually played quite well on Thursday. He did almost spoil his game with the late error but his clutch free throw at the end game definitely saved his evening. Jackson ended the night with 16 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.

The Clippers have established themselves as one of the top three teams in the Western Conference to this point in the NBA season. Ty Lue's team joins the Los Angeles Lakers and Utah Jazz in a top three which has gained some separation from most of the pack in the West, with the Denver Nuggets lurking in fourth place.
