After trading their best player in Blake Griffin to the Detroit Pistons last week, many already counted the L.A. Clippers out of this season and made them believe that they are opting to rebuild. However, they still got back some players who can contribute to their cause and still make it possible for them to earn a spot in the 2018 postseason.

During their game on Saturday against the Chicago Bulls, the Los Angeles faithful had the chance to see Tobias Harris and Avery Bradley debut for their team. They didn't waste time in helping the Clippers get back to their winning ways, to the delight of the crowd inside Staples Center, and their owner, Steve Ballmer. The 61-year-old businessman was apparently ecstatic about the victory on the night and even yelled how proud he was of their new-look team, according to ClutchPoints’ own Tomer Azarly.

Harris and Danilo Gallinari top-scored for the Clippers, finishing with 24 points each and combined for 13 rebounds and three assists. Bradley only scored eight points and added two rebounds and four assists, but he showed off his defensive acumen by making it difficult for the Bulls guards to score against him.

The haul of players the Clippers received could fly under the radar and prove to be something that will make the team even better. There are times when a franchise's best player needs to be traded due to different reasons, but it may also pay dividends for them, and the Clippers' latest move has the potential to be one of those.
