It feels like the Washington Commanders have been under investigation for the last 100 years. With multiple reports of bad business conducted by owner Daniel Snyder, the NFL had Congress step in and take a look at Washington's situation. Now, Snyder and Rodger Goodell are set to answer some difficult questions.

According to JP Finlay, Congress has officially asked Daniel Snyder and Rodger Goodell in, “to answer the questions they have dodged for the last seven months.” There have been numerous reports regarding the Commanders' dirty business practices. This isn't a great look for Washington, as the franchise might have been hurting the league all these years. Finlay provides a lengthy message Congress sent to Snyder and Goodell.

Of course, everyone is innocent until proven guilty. However, the evidence against Snyder continues to mount. This has been an ugly situation for the NFL, as Rodger Goodell hasn't done much to resolve the issue. The third-party investigation has found substantially more information than Goodell's initial findings. Hopefully, we receive some answers soon, as the Commanders' owner is facing some serious allegations.

It's not a great look that both Dan Snyder and Rodger Goodell have dodged questions for seven months. Luckily, Congress doesn't seem to be messing around with this situation. The Commanders are dealing with a unique scenario all because the owner has been incompetent during his tenure.

Depending on how it plays out, Snyder may be forced to sell the franchise. There is also a possibility of Goodell catching some fire as well, considering he is the commissioner of the NFL. Either way, the Commanders have tarnished the league and most of the blame lies on Dan Snyder's shoulders.
