The Dallas Cowboys are in desperate need of a win when they take on the Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday, and they could be getting a couple of very important pieces back for the NFC East clash.

According to Clarence E. Hill Jr. of The Fort Worth Star-Telegram, wide receivers Amari Cooper and Randall Cobb are expected to return to practice on Friday.

Cooper left the Cowboys' loss to the New York Jets last Sunday due to a quad injury. Meanwhile, Cobb sat out of last week's action as a result of a back issue.

The injury for Cooper was just his latest issue on the year, as he has dealt with foot and ankle injuries since the summer. That has not stopped him from producing, however, as he has logged 33 catches for 515 yards and five touchdowns through six games.

Dallas initially acquired Cooper in a midseason trade with the Oakland Raiders last year. In nine games with the Cowboys in 2018, Cooper caught 53 passes for 725 yards and six scores. On the season overall, he hauled in 75 receptions for 1,005 yards and seven touchdowns, making the Pro Bowl as a result.

Meanwhile, Dallas signed Cobb during the offseason, hoping he would be the No. 3 receiver behind Cooper and Michael Gallup.

Cobb provided the Cowboys with a reliable option through the first five games, snaring 17 balls for 210 yards and a score before the back issue kept him out of Week 6.

Dallas started the season 3-0, but it has since lost three straight games to fall into a tie with the Eagles for first place in the division.
