Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys' offense have been struggling in a big way this season. Through the first five games, the Cowboys are 2-3 and have quite a few questions they must answer if they want to get back into playoff contention.

Fans have begun getting very frustrated with Prescott's play this season. That has led to quite a few fans jumping ship and starting a petition for Dallas to bring back Tony Romo, as reported by 247 Sports.

“A petition is currently circulating on Change.org asking the Cowboys to ‘Bring Back [Tony] Romo.' The petition, started by fan Tyler Hughes, explains itself by saying ‘The problem that I am looking to solve is the Dallas offense. Let’s get Tony Romo back on the Cowboys roster so that we can open up the playbook again.' The petition has 804 signatures as of this writing.”

Romo has been enjoying his time as a broadcaster and has won over many fans with his ability to break down the game of football so clearly.

Jerry Jones and company have remained steadfast in their support of Prescott. Clutch Points recently noted that Jones reaffirmed his backing of Prescott following the Cowboys' loss to the Houston Texans.

There is little to no chance Romo would consider returning to the game of football. He suffered many back injuries throughout his career and his body simply would not be able to hold up if he returned. Romo has a comfortable job that still keeps him active in the game he loves and he isn't going to want to leave that role.

Prescott has remained confident that he will get back to playing at the level that the Cowboys need him to be at. Expect to see the Cowboys stick with Prescott for the rest of the season.

If he is unable to turn things around, the team could consider making a change during the offseason. That being said, Dallas does not seem to have any interest in benching Prescott anytime soon.
