The 2-4 Dallas Cowboys will take on the 1-5 Washington Football Team in Week 7 in a game that not many people are going to watch since both teams are terrible.

The Cowboys are coming off a blowout loss to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 6 and players reportedly are already talking behind head coach Mike McCarthy's back.

Washington, meanwhile, lost to the New York Giants in Week 6. The team has been just as much of a disaster as the Cowboys have been. The entire NFC East has been a walking piece of mediocrity and it's a shame a team from the division is going to make the 2020 playoffs.

With Week 7 of the NFL season almost here, let's take a look at four bold predictions for the Cowboys-Washington game from a Dallas perspective.

1. Andy Dalton throws two interceptions and two touchdowns

Andy Dalton is the new starting quarterback for the Cowboys after star Dak Prescott was lost for the season. The Red Rifle was awful in Week 6 against the Cardinals. He went 32-of-54 for 266 yards, one touchdown and two picks.

Dalton was so bad versus the Cardinals that some Cowboys pundits believe owner and general manager Jerry Jones should look to trade for Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, who was benched for rookie Tua Tagovailoa this week after starting the first six weeks of the season.

Against Washington, look for Dalton to throw for two interceptions and two touchdowns against a defense which is giving up 27.0 points per game. After another full week of getting the first-team reps in practice, Dalton should get a little more comfortable with the Cowboys' playmakers, but it still won't be enough to prevent the veteran passer from turning the ball over two times again.

2. Ezekiel Elliott has zero fumbles and at least one touchdown

Cowboys star running back Ezekiel Elliott leads the NFL with five fumbles on the season. He fumbled the ball two times against the Cardinals on Monday Night Football and was extremely hard on himself after the game.

With that being said, look for Elliott to have a bounce-back game against Washington and not drop the ball this time. Washington's run defense isn't all that impressive, so Zeke should be able to find some running lanes and get into the end zone at least once in Week 7.

The Cowboys need Elliott to get it together quickly. Dallas is still atop the NFC East standings despite its putrid play. If Elliott can hold on to the ball moving forward and start to get some big runs going, the Cowboys may be able to win the NFC East despite the loss of Prescott.

3. Amari Cooper catches at least five passes and one touchdown

Amari Cooper has caught 46 balls on the season for 503 yards and two touchdowns. Even though Dalton is a below-average quarterback at this stage of his career, he can still make a few nice throws from time to time.

With that being said, look for Cooper to catch at least five passes against Washington and score a touchdown. He has faced Washington four times in his career and reached the end zone three times.

The Cowboys have the worst defense in the NFL, but Washington is pretty bad, too. After getting embarrassed at home in Week 6 on Monday Night Football, the Cowboys have to be motivated to get back in the win column, and feeding the ball to Cooper on the outside is a great way to ensure that will happen.

4. Cowboys defeat Washington to improve to 3-4

The Cowboys should be able to defeat Washington in Week 7 to improve to 3-4 on the season. Since it is a divisional game, you can pretty much throw scouting reports and playbooks out the door. These two teams know each other very well, meaning it should be a close game in the nation's capital.

Since the Cowboys have more playmakers on offense, Dallas should be able to score more points than Washington in Week 7. Don't be surprised, though, if this game is ugly from start to finish since both teams have been playing dreadful football to begin the season.

Washington quarterback Kyle Allen will probably throw at least one interception against the Cowboys, although we can't guarantee anything since Dallas' defense is atrocious. The Cowboys' offense, led by Dalton, Elliott, Cooper, CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup, will have to win this game for Dallas since the team's defense hasn't proven it can be reliable.

Even though Dalton is washed up now, he could have a vintage performance against Washington and put his playmakers in positions to be successful.
