The Cleveland Browns signed defensive linesman Myles Garrett to a huge, $125 million extension over the offseason, which will see the 24-year-old in Cleveland until at least 2026. With the Browns set to face off against the Houston Texans on Sunday, Deshaun Watson shared his two cents worth on Garrett's deal.

According to the Texans QB, he's got zero qualms about how the Browns signed Garrett to such a significant amount of money:

“He’s a beast,” Watson said, via Mark Lane of Yahoo Sports. “He got paid what he deserved. He’s a guy that’s going to come every play. He’s a guy that you have to worry about each and every time. He’s a special talent; very athletic, can run, very powerful, very strong, can bend around the edge.”

It is worth noting that Garrett is currently dealing with a knee injury from Cleveland's Week 8 loss against the Las Vegas Raiders. The good news is that his knee problem does not appear to be too serious, and he is expected to suit up for the Browns against the Texans.

Much like the rest of his squad, Watson understands the threat Garrett brings to the table:

“He’s a guy that we got to make sure that we can try to contain as much as possible and not let him take over the ball game,” said Watson.

The 5-3 Browns have lost two of their last three games, and will be looking to bounce back against the Texans on Sunday. They are coming off their bye week, so this is at least something they have going for them.
