Mike Wallace, the Miami Dolphins, and Adam Gase are part of this next story. The Tennessee Titans made a change at quarterback midway through the 2019 season. They turned to Ryan Tannehill, and everything started going right for them.

Tannehill is starting to look like the quarterback the Miami Dolphins were hoping for when they drafted him eighth back in 2012. Mike Wallace might agree.

In 12 games, Tannehill threw for 2,742 yards and 22 touchdowns compared to just six interceptions. He did so on a ridiculous 70.3 completion percentage. Meanwhile, the quarterback also had 185 rushing yards and four more touchdowns on the ground. He had truly blossomed. Mike Wallace noticed this evolution.

Not only was he playing well, but Tannehill's game was translating to wins. The Titans made the playoffs and even beat the New England Patriots in the Wild Card round. Now, in the Divisional Round they find themselves up 14-6 at halftime on the Baltimore Ravens. Tannehill has two touchdown passes already in that game.

It has led many to start talking about the quarterback again. Is he finally blossoming? Or is this just an anomaly? Let's ask Mike Wallace: If he is starting to blossom, what took so long? Was this just something that needed to take a long time? Was he in the wrong system back with the Dolphins? Or are the Titans simply the perfect spot for Tannehill.

Wide receiver Mike Wallace seems to believe he knows what the problem was. He's blaming it on the Dolphins. It seems he is throwing a shot at the organization, and former coach Adam Gase.

To be fair to Mike Wallace, a lot of people have been throwing this idea out there. The Dolphins have not been a great organization for quite some time now. And it wouldn't be all that surprising if it was just them fumbling the bag of having a great starting quarterback but never being able to figure it out.

Of course, this is something we will never know for sure. Maybe it really was the situation that Tannehill was in. But there is no definitive way to prove it. So all we have it the tweets and the jokes. Mike Wallace made his position clear.

We now know for certain what Mike Wallace believes the problem was, and he certainly doesn't think it was Tannehill.
