The Miami Dolphins were able to score a defensive touchdown against the Los Angeles Rams and now they've had contributions from their special teams unit. After forcing the Rams to punt, Jakeem Grant was able to take a punt by Johnny Hekker 88 yards for a touchdown.

Earlier in the game, Miami's defense strip-sacked Jared Goff, with the ball being recovered by Andrew Van Ginkel. Van Ginkel would pick up the ball and return it 78 yards to give the Dolphins a 14-7 lead in the first half.

But after the defense created a score, Grant caught a booming punt by Hekker at the 12-yard line. The speedy wideout would take the ball to the right sideline and would find some room for him to get into the end zone.

Surprisingly enough, Grant's return touchdown is the first return touchdown of the NFL season. If the Dolphins want to get Tua Tagovailoa a win in his debut, they may need more contributions from their defense and special teams.
