The feud between LaVar Ball and President Donald Trump is intensifying. Trump has fired off yet another shot at the Ball family, saying he should’ve left LiAngelo in jail because of LaVar’s unwillingness to show his gratitude.
Now that the three basketball players are out of China and saved from years in jail, LaVar Ball, the father of LiAngelo, is unaccepting of what I did for his son and that shoplifting is no big deal. I should have left them in jail!

This on-going beef between Trump and Ball started with Trump requesting thanks from Ball after claiming to be responsible for the release of Ball’s son, LiAngelo, as well as his other two UCLA teammates, following their shoplifting incident in China.
Ball wasn’t too keen to make good on that request, though, and claimed Trump was not the reason for his son's release. And now, Trump has delivered his latest retort.
It’ll be interesting to see exactly who among these two bullheaded individuals will cave in this ongoing war of words. Trump’s pettiness has been evident for all to see during his first year in office and he is not one to let things go so easily. Meanwhile, Ball is as stubborn as they come and also isn’t going to back down from anyone, not even the president.
It’s just a matter of time until Ball comes out with his own reaction to Trump’s most recent tweet. But unless one of the two decides to keep their mouth shut and simply let the matter die down, it remains to be seen how this issue resolves itself.
