It was yet another thrilling Der Klassiker between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich on Saturday at Signal Iduna Park, but it didn't come without controversy.
The visitors ran out as 3-2 winners because of a questionable penalty call late in the second half on Dortmund defender Mats Hummels and it was quickly criticized by the BVB players and manager Marco Rose, who was handed a second yellow for arguing.
Both Jude Bellingham and Erling Haaland, among others, voiced their displeasure with referee Felix Zwayer, who was literally banned in 2005 for match-fixing:

It truly felt like a fixture that Dortmund should've found a better result. There were several other controversial calls, including a tackle on Marco Rose that looked to be a penalty. The hosts even took the lead early through Julian Brandt, but Bayern fired back with goals from Robert Lewandowski and Kingsley Coman. But in classic Haaland fashion, he equalized with a breathtaking strike in the 48th minute.
A point at the very least should've been secured but Zwayer absolutely robbed Dortmund. Haaland and Bellingham have every right to be livid over the VAR handball call. Now, the Black and Yellows sit four points behind Bayern for first place in Germany's top flight.
