Dragon Ball Super x PUBG Mobile Pays Tribute to Series Creator

The Dragon Ball Super collaboration with PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile (PUBGM) pays tribute to the late series creator Akira Toriyama. From the collab’s duration and details, here is everything you need to know about the Dragon Ball Super x PUBG Mobile collab.

Dragon Ball Super Collaborates with PUBG Mobile

The Dragon Ball Super x PUBG Mobile collaboration is currently up in the game, starting from June 7 up until July 31, 2024.

The collab features new Dragon Ball Super-themed character sets and outfits, voice packs, Home mode figures, and more. Here is everything that the Dragon Ball Super x PUBG Mobile collab offers:

Dragon Ball Super-themed PUBGM character sets and outfits

For the duration of the collab event, PUBG Mobile players can get their hands on new and returning Dragon Ball Super-themed character sets, items, voice packs, and outfits.

This collaboration brings the highly anticipated Vegito Character Set and Bulma Character Set. Alongside that, upgraded versions of previous fan favorites like the Super Saiyan Blue Son Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta Character Sets make their return to PUBGM.

With the Super Saiyan Blue Son Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta Character Sets back, this collaboration also marks the return of popular items from PUBGM’s initial Dragon Ball Super collaboration, allowing players to expand their collections with exclusive pieces they may have missed.

Introducing Dragon Ball Super Figures in Home Mode

In a first for PUBG Mobile, the collaboration introduces a permanent IP-themed figure collection for the Home mode. In case you have yet to explore PUBGM’s Home mode, it is basically a customizable virtual living spaces for players, pretty much like making your own house within the game.

Going back to the Dragon Ball collaboration, players can now collect and showcase figures of beloved Dragon Ball Super characters, including Son Goku, Vegeta, Vegito, Piccolo, Frieza, Ultimate Gohan, and Bulma, as well as iconic locations like the Kame House.

These figures are available through the Home mode, in-game events, the Vegito Crate in the Prize Path, or for direct purchase from the Home Shop.

PUBG Mobile’s Upgraded Prize Path

The newly upgraded Prize Path offers 40 levels of exciting rewards. Players activate the path with a one-time UC spend, then complete missions to level up and earn Dragon Ball Super-themed rewards. Missions can be started before unlocking the Prize Path, allowing players to instantly claim level rewards once the path is activated.

Upon collecting enough points or gathering Crate Vouchers as level rewards, players can unlock Selection Crates and choose from the rewards provided.

Character Crates, obtainable through Character Vouchers or the Event Shop, offer more exclusive items. Reaching levels 20 and 40 allows players to select a Character set as a reward, with additional outfits available through the Event Shop.

Exclusive Rewards Through Special Events

From June 7th to July 9th, players can participate in the Dragon Ball Super Matching Game to earn exclusive rewards, such as the Mai Style Set, Dragon Ball Super Character Trial Voice Packs, and the Four-Star Ball Home Figure. This limited-time event adds another layer of excitement to the collaboration.

With that, that is everything that you need to know about the new PUBG Mobile collab with Dragon Ball Super. For more information regarding the game, you can visit the official PUBGM social channels on Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), and YouTube.
