When it comes to novice critics on Twitter trolling NBA players in their free time, they can never really anticipate when they will reply. Most are just voicing their opinions onto a mediated platform the allows a wider audience to see their true feelings, and expecting people with millions of followers to respond is next to unlikely.

For Twitter user Eric Larson, he found himself ripping on Dwyane Wade pretty hard, stating exactly when he would begin to respect the three-time NBA champion again.

To his surprise, Dwyane Wade responded back clarifying exactly what his goals were like during the season.

To the 35-year-old's credit, he certainly knows what it takes to work hard, especially for an NBA title. The Marquette-product is still racking up fairly decent numbers respective to his age, averaging 18.3 points, 3.8 assists, and 4.5 rebounds per game. As he hilariously noted earlier this summer, numbers like these could earn him a max contract if he was a decade younger.

So it's good to see Wade back himself up on this shot taken by the Twitter troll. Only so many people can comprehend the insurmountable pressures of being an NBA player despite the lucrative paychecks and fruitful lifestyle. Playing at the highest level of any sport is difficult mentally, physically, and psychologically, and it's commendable to see old heads like Wade still committed to the grind.
