Sierra Canyon high school star Zaire Wade is looking more and more like his old man, first-ballot Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade.

The 17-year-old basketball phenom displayed his phenomenal hops reminiscent of his legendary father, in Sierra Canyon’s first game of the season against Montgomery high school.

Wade got a full head of steam on a fast break and asked for a lob as he pointed to the sky. He caught the perfectly timed pass and proceeded to finish a nice two-handed throwdown. The highlight gave Sierra Canyon an early 12-2 lead at the 5:45 mark of the first quarter.

LeBron James’ eldest son Bronny, who teamed up with Zaire in Sierra Canyon prior to the start of the year, also made his high school debut. He scored his first official bucket with a three-pointer in the right corner.

The pair of highly publicized high schoolers are expected to enter the league in the coming years.
