There were plenty of deciding moments in the Philadelphia Eagles victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII. Among them was defensive end Brandon Graham's strip-sack on quarterback Tom Brady in the fourth quarter.

It was a memorable moment for Eagles fans. Graham during an appearance on 94WIP’s morning show that he has seen the highlight countless times since then.

“I’ve seen it over a thousand times,” Graham said of the play. “I can’t even lie to you. It brings me joy to be able to say we won a championship in Philly and brought one to Philadelphia. Over a thousand.”

Graham was sure to give props to the coverage by safety Malcolm Jenkins.

“Oh yeah. That’s what we talk about all the time,” Graham said of Jenkins’ coverage. “As a D-lineman, all we want the corners to do is take away the first ready and we should be there. It all works together. So Malcolm definitely helped me out, and I appreciate him for sure.”

Not only did the Eagles provide the city with their Super Bowl, but they did it in spectacular fashion. Philadelphia's chances had seemingly gone out the window with the injury to quarterback Carson Wentz. However, this forced other members of the team — like Graham — to step up when they need it most.

This is just the most recent example of a player expressing his joy at the expense of the Patriots. Philadelphia has taken shots at New England nearly every opportunity they get. Such is the case when a team has bragging rights for the offseason. However, they will be looking to emulate the type of sustained success the Patriots have enjoyed by defending their crown this year.

The Eagles are a little banged up going into the 2018 NFL season. However, they are still considered contenders since they boast much of the same talent that was a major part of their Super Bowl run.
