The Philadelphia Eagles lost Jay Ajayi to an ACL tear, but Carson Wentz isn't worried about the team bringing in more offense talent. Rather than looking outside of their organization, Wentz wants to focus on who he has at his disposal now. With Wentz as their starter, the team has won two of their last four games. It's tight in the NFC East right now. He has his favorite target Alshon Jeffery back, but losing their top running back will definitely hurt the team.

“My job is to focus on the guys we have, the guys we have in that locker room, and do my best to get everyone involved,” Wentz said Wednesday. “So outside, all of that, I don’t look into that. I’m extremely confident with who we have, love those guys.”

“We’re always going into battle every day with each other, for each other. So I love this team and where we’re at.”

Carson Wentz has thrown for 1,192 yards, eight touchdowns with one interception this season. He isn't at his best, but part of that is because of his porous offensive line. He's taking plenty of unnecessary hits while trying to make plays, which is definitely scary for Eagles fans to watch.

Having a steady running game would help the backs minimize their risk. Even just having a back that can be a receiver out of the backfield would help a lot. However, Darren Sproles has been battling injuries this season. Once he's back, he will lighten the load for Wentz.

The Eagles have the Carolina Panthers on their docket for Week 7. Both squads are coming off losses, so it should make for an intense matchup.
