The 2009 Philadelphia Eagles featured star QB Donovan McNabb and a young DeSean Jackson at wide receiver. Although they ultimately lost in the Wild Card Round after posting an 11-5 record in the regular season, Jackson enjoyed a fantastic campaign, catching nine touchdowns en route to being named to the Pro Bowl.

However, the ex-Eagles wideout revealed this week on the “I am an Athlete” podcast with LeSean McCoy, Brandon Marshall, and Pacman Jones that he had serious issues with McNabb because he overheard him saying to backup quarterback Michael Vick that he didn't deserve to make the Pro Bowl.

Via TMZ Sports:

“When the ballots came out, and they found out that I was the first player in NFL history to get elected to start in the Pro Bowl for two positions,” Jackson said, “my starting quarterback tells Michael Vick, ‘Damn, I don't think he should've got that. He shouldn't have deserved that.”

The Eagles legend was selected as a punt returner and WR but McNabb clearly didn't believe one of his best targets should've received the honor. Jackson collected 62 receptions for over 1,100 yards that year, too. Definitely deserving. The veteran also revealed that McNabb is one of the cheapest “mother*f**ckers”, saying he'd made his teammates “pay for everything”.

Wild. Jackson made sure to confirm he and McNabb are on good terms now. But his former Eagles teammate sure did him dirty back in 09′ with those comments.
