Former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb has been critical this year about the current quarterback Carson Wentz, but it looks like he's been trying to make some amends. After Wentz signed a four-year contract for $128 million, McNabb went to took to Twitter to congratulate Wentz on the deal.

Back in April, McNabb said he thinks the Eagles need to move on from Wentz if he couldn't get past the second round of the playoffs in the next two seasons.

“I think, personally, if he can't get out of the second round in the next two, maybe three, years, but really two years, to be honest with you,” McNabb said via 247 Sports. “If he can't get out of the second round, they should look to possibly draft another quarterback because you just don't know about his durability.”

McNabb said a big reason the Eagles should approach it that way is because Wentz has had an inability to stay healthy and compete in the playoffs.

“Staying healthy is very key in this league. The team only goes as far as their quarterback takes them. And they put so many eggs in the basket with Carson Wentz and he has to prove that in the next two years.”

McNabb received a lot of heat for his comments but didn't back down from them saying he was doing his job as an analyst. McNabb is an Eagle at heart, and there is no doubt even with the comments that he wants what is best for the Eagles and he hopes that is Wentz leading them to another Super Bowl.
