LeSean McCoy is fresh off a Super Bowl ring with the Kansas City Chiefs. It was the first one of his career. Now a free agent, McCoy is looking to continue his career. With that in mind, someone from an old team came calling — Philadelphia Eagles veteran cornerback Jalen Mills to be exact.

Mills took to Twitter to send a pretty simple, but enticing, recruiting pitch to the veteran running back.

No need to elaborate on that one. Mills and the Eagles won a Super Bowl just a few short seasons ago. And with Carson Wentz healthy at quarterback, they are viewed as possible contenders again in 2020.

The running back position is set up pretty nicely for them, with Miles Sanders having a fantastic rookie season in 2019. However, it's always good to have a talented backup and someone to take some pressure off the starter.

That's where McCoy would come in to play. He had the best years of his career in Philadelphia. While there, he was considered one of the very best in the NFL at his position.

He was shifty, breaking ankles left and right. And McCoy was dangerous both in the running game, and as a weapon in the passing game.

Now at this point in his career, he isn't really set to be a featured back in an offense anymore. But as playing in a reliever role, he could shine.

So why not go back to where it all started for him? Mills seems to think it would be a good idea.

And Philadelphia is certainly a contender that could help McCoy in his quest for another ring. Meanwhile, he could be play a very important role in that potential Super Bowl run.

It remains to be seen where McCoy heads this offseason. But Philadelphia is definitely a landing spot to look out for.
