It's a week before the draft and more of these rumors are going to be swirling, but this is one that makes a whole lot of sense. Last season with all the injuries, the Eagles were starting practice squad players, and it's been a priority to improve wide receiver this offseason.

It has been mostly quiet during free agency for the Eagles with the only big splash being the trade for Darius Slay. Lamb is one of the more intriguing players in the entire draft, and it's hard to imagine he is going to be around when the Eagles are on the clock at 21.

The Eagles own eight selections in the draft, and who knows how much draft capital it will take to move up to a position where they could draft him. During the 2019 season, Lamb caught 62 passes for 1,327 yards, and 14 touchdowns. There have been some concerns about his success due to of Oklahoma's strong offense, but there is no doubt Lamb is a talented wide receiver.

Going to the Eagles he would be on another talented offense, and he should be able to help contribute in a big way. Who knows, if they can work out a trade partner, maybe it will be Carson Wentz to Lamb for the next decade-plus in the City of Brotherly Love.
