As it stands today, the Philadelphia Eagles currently own just one first-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft with the heralded NFC East franchise slated to pick at No. 21. With the New York Giants and Washington Redskins picking inside the top 10 and the rival Dallas Cowboys primed to pick at No. 19 overall in the first round, it is no secret that the Eagles absolutely must make the most of the team's top pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

With next month's event creeping up more rapidly every day, teams will continue to focus more on the draft and just a bit less on free agency. With that in mind, the Eagles have had plenty of time to figure out which needs the team will address via the open market versus the NFL draft. As a result, it appears more evident than ever that the Eagles will attempt to select one of the many talented wide receivers in this year's group with the No. 21 overall pick in the first round.

However, because of the slew of wide receiver needy teams presently scheduled to pick just ahead of Philadelphia, it still remains to be seen as to which of these potential superstar pass chargers the Eagles ultimately manage to land.

WR Denzel Mims, Baylor Bears

With the Philadelphia Eagles gearing up to pick at No. 21 overall, it is also worth noting that the New York Jets at No. 11, Las Vegas Raiders at No. 12, San Francisco 49ers at No. 13 and Denver Broncos at No. 15 could all very well select wide outs with their respective top picks. With the trio of Jerry Jeudy, Henry Ruggs III and CeeDee Lamb all slated to come off the board well before the Eagles' time even comes, Philadelphia will then be forced to look at the next crop of talent, a group arguably headlined by former Baylor Bears standout wide receiver Denzel Mims.

Although often mentioned after the fact due to the presence of the aforementioned Jeudy, Ruggs III and Lamb, Mims possesses a well-balanced mixture of size, athleticism and top notch ball skills to coincide with his ability to catch the football all over the field. Thanks to his all-around game, Mims could quickly become a favorite target of Eagles starting quarterback Carson Wentz.

WR Justin Jefferson, LSU Tigers

Another player that immediately comes to mind just after Jerry Jeudy, Henry Ruggs III and CeeDee Lamb are discussed is former LSU Tigers wide receiver Justin Jefferson. In the same conversation and grouping as the aforementioned Denzel Mims out of Baylor, Jefferson also possesses the ability to quickly turn into a top target once reaching the professional ranks of the NFL.

With some high-level experience against some serious SEC competitive thanks to his time spent at LSU, Jefferson could very well land in the Philadelphia Eagles' lap come the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. However, this decision could come down to whether or not the Eagles value Jefferson over some other similarly graded pass-catchers.

Remember, teams can only have virtual contact with prospective NFL talent this time around as individual workouts outside of the Scouting Combine and various Pro Days have gone out the window.

WR Jalen Reagor, TCU Horned Frogs

Perhaps the sneakiest of this bunch, former TCU Horned Frogs wideout Jalen Reagor has some serious skills, skills that may have him jump all the way into the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Depending on how the chips fall, all of the above receivers may very well be gone by the time the Eagles pop up on the board at No. 21. If that is indeed the case, the Eagles should absolutely not wait until the later rounds or seek a low-end free agent to fill the team's current void at the wide receiver position. Rather, the Eagles should simply select Reagor, who can also have an immediate impact in Philadelphia.

By no means would this pick be a reach for the Eagles as Reagor can most certainly serve as an electric playmaker and dynamic presence for Wentz, who was down to fringe practice-squad players at this position by the end of the 2019-20 campaign. A true weapon waiting in the wings, Reagor would fit in well with the Eagles and would no doubt make a positive impression as a rookie in 2020-21.
