The Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants are both absolutely atrocious football teams right now. However, with some fans in the crowd in Philadelphia on Thursday evening, quarterback Carson Wentz and the Eagles immediately came out swinging against the rival Giants.

With the Giants winning the toss and electing to defer until the second half, the Eagles promptly received the football en route to stringing together a six-minute scoring drive to take an early lead.

With Wentz eventually scampering into the end zone for six, the Eagles seemingly led the Giants 7-0 before New York even knew what hit them.

Both Wentz's legs and arm helped lead the Eagles down the field and into the end zone. While find a few different wide receivers on the team's opening drive of the evening, Wentz not only found the end zone via the ground game but he also rushed for a first down on fourth down earlier in the quarter.

The Eagles will try to use that early momentum to pick up a much-needed win.
