The Atlanta Falcons are reportedly set to clean house by firing offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian, defensive coordinator Marquand Manuel, and special teams coach Keith Armstrong.

It was a disappointing 2018 campaign for the Falcons, as they started 4-9 overall before winning their final three games of the regular season.

That kept Atlanta out of the playoffs for the first time since the 2015 season, which was a year before Dan Quinn took over as head coach.

And, after such a difficult season, it appears that the Falcons are going to completely overhaul their leadership in all three phases of the game.

From ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter:

Atlanta is overhauling its coaching staff, letting go of offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian, defensive coordinator Marquand Manuel and special teams coach Keith Armstrong, per sources. Major changes for the Falcons.

For Falcons fans, these changes probably won't come as much of a surprise.

While injuries accounted for some of the issues this season, there's no doubt that inconsistencies in a lot of key areas led to the underwhelming record.

So, it makes sense why the team would choose to make immediate changes in order to get back on track as soon as possible.

There are quality playmakers on both sides of the ball, and now it's just a matter of putting players in the right position to help lead Atlanta back to a Super Bowl.

Getting everyone healthy will be a top priority this offseason, but now, it looks like there will be other important tasks to take care of when it comes to finding the right fits for these coordinator roles.
