Atlanta Falcons head coach Dan Quinn has taken the blame for the Falcons' blown leads in two consecutive games.

The Falcons have seen their impressive leads in two back-to-back games diminished. The most recent comeback was responsible by the Chicago Bears on Sunday in a final score of 30-26. Prior to that in Week 2, the Falcons fell in an unbelievable manner to the Dallas Cowboys, giving them some swagger heading into their Week 3 contest against the Seattle Seahawks.

Quinn may find himself in the hot seat in the weeks to come if this storyline of dramatically blown leads continues even to a minor degree. The Falcons are a team in possession of picturesque quarterback Matt Ryan, who has been decent through his first three games. He threw for 238 yards on 19 of 38 completed passes along with one touchdown against the Bears. They also possess talent in the passing area with 31-year old Julio Jones.

Is it possible that the story may be different had Bears head coach Matt Nagy not switched up his quarterbacks? Sure. Nick Foles came in and did the unthinkable, delivering all three of his touchdown passes in the fourth quarter to lift the Bears over the Falcons. Quinn and the Falcons must have sought to go into cruise control past the Bears for their first win of the season before Foles' late-game heroics.

The sixth-year head coach may be accurately speaking on his fate if this Falcons team can't pull it around in Week 4. They'll have their hands full against the Aaron Rodgers-led Green Bay Packers however. Upon a lost there, Quinn may force the ownership to look for different coaching options early into the season.
