Julio Jones made history in the first half against the Cleveland Browns. The Atlanta Falcons’ superstar wide receiver has become the fastest player in NFL history to reach 10,000 receiving yards, per Will McFadden of the team’s official website.

Jones reached the impressive milestone in just 104 games, which beats former Lions wideout Calvin Johnson’s previous mark of 115 games.

Jones also picked up another touchdown, giving him two in two weeks after having none in his first seven games of the season.

Even with his lack of touchdowns, Jones is having another monster year. Entering Sunday's game, Jones had the second-most receiving yards in the league with 933 yards on 60 catches.

Jones has finished in the top three in receiving yards in each of the past four years, so he’s on pace to keep that impressive streak alive. At the rate Jones is going, he may just break a few more records before the season is done.

Jones demanded a revised contract in the offseason as he felt he was being underpaid, which he is. His performance this season is only underscoring just how remarkable a player he is and how valuable he is to the team.

If Jones keeps up his impressive play, he will make an even stronger case for more money if as he renegotiates his deal with the team after the season.
