Soon-to-be Hall of Famer Larry Fitzgerald had high praise for another wide receiver donning No. 11 on Sunday. Before the Arizona Cardinals' Week 7 tilt against the Atlanta Falcons, Larry Legend proclaimed Julio Jones to be the best wide receiver he's ever seen.

NFL Films caught Fitzgerald conversating with rookie quarterback Kyler Murray. While doing so, they looked across the field to see the other 11. A 6-3, 220-pound mammoth capable of running a sub 4.4 40-yard-dash that goes by the nickname “Jet.”

“Hey, you’re going to see something today,” Fitzgerald told Murray. “He’s the best I’ve ever seen. He’s the best I’ve ever seen. He’s so explosive. He’s got no weaknesses. No weaknesses in his game.”

Murray concurred, saying “He looks like a freak.”

Though Murray played with receivers by the name of Marquise Brown and Ceedee Lamb at Oklahoma and gets to share a field with Fitzgerald, nothing compares to Julio Jones. He showed that on Sunday. The Falcons receiver hauled in eight receptions for 108 yards, which, to his standards, is an off-day.

Though Jones broke the 100-yard marker to prove Fitzgerald's point, Larry and Kyler got the last laugh. The Cardinals won 34-33 in a shootout, which dropped the Falcons to 1-5 and boosted the Redbirds to 2-3-1.

For the season, Jones has 34 receptions for 467 yards and four touchdowns. Though his Falcons are struggling, he, at the age of 30, continues to pave his way to Canton, Ohio, where he is bound to meet Fitzgerald. There is a reason why Jones is the first receiver to receive an all-guaranteed contract.
