The Atlanta Falcons season has been a mess and it continues to be a downward spiral, but owner Arthur Blank hasn't lost faith in Dan Quinn and Thomas Dimitroff. The Falcons are sitting with a 4-8 record and Blank admits that it's been a tough season to watch.

“We're sitting here at 4-8,” Falcons owner Arthur Blank said, via Jeff Schultz of The Athletic. “When there was chatter that we were Super Bowl contenders, and then this … it's difficult to go through. It's tough on everybody. We have a lot of injuries. That's not an excuse, but … it's reality. They're fighting the best that they can.”

Most teams having as disappointing of a season as the Falcons are this year, there would be some major changes made during the offseason, and although there still could be, Blank made it clear after the game that the coach and general manager are safe for now.

“I haven't lost any faith in Coach Quinn or Thomas,Sarkisian” Blank said. “They'll do the evaluations that's needed.”

The Falcons have a ton of talent on the offensive side of the ball and it's troubling that Matt Ryan, Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley, and Mohamed Sanu haven't scored above 19 points in any of the last four games. One has to wonder if they will move on from offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian.

Every game that passes the team seems to miss Kyle Shannahan more and more and this offseason they are going to need to find someone to get the most out of the offense.
