The South Carolina Gamecocks are preparing to take on the Louisville Cardinals in the Final Four of the women's NCAA Tournament. The 33-2 Gamecocks are looking to cap off their excellent season with a title, led by their best player, junior forward Aliyah Boston. As South Carolina looks to continue their NCAA Tournament run, Boston picked up some hardware of her own. The junior forward earned two honors, as reported by Sports Illustrated.

South Carolina forward Aliyah Boston earned two honors Wednesday as she was named Naismith Player of the Year and Naismith Defensive Player of the Year.

Boston was named the Naismith Player of the Year as well as Naismith Defensive Player of the Year. The Gamecocks junior averaged 16.8 points, 12.2 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 1.3 steals per game in 35 games played.

The South Carolina star set the SEC record for most consecutive double-doubles with 27 in a row. Along with Boston's two awards, the Gamecocks also took home the Naismith Coach of the Year award, with head coach Dawn Staley earning the honors.

The Louisville Cardinals will have a tough time besting Boston and the rest of the Gamecocks in their Final Four matchup, set to tip-off on Friday night.

One can bet that Boston, the nation's best player, will have something to say about it.
