Swiftly arriving with shimmering coldness and brilliant flames, Eula and Yanfei grace Genshin Impact 1.5: Beneath the Light of Jadeite. These two upcoming characters appeared during the March 17 special reveal program. We've known they're coming, but it's great to finally get a confirmation of their arrival.
EULA AND YANFEI ARRIVE IN GENSHIN IMPACT 1.5
Our first new Genshin Impact character, Eula, is a 5-star Cryo-type Claymore user. She hails from Mondstadt and works with the Knights of Favonius. Specializing in a mix of swift Cryo abilities and powerful physical attacks, her abilities are nothing to scoff at. By the looks of it, she can be the main damage dealer of your party.
Eula’s Elemental Skill is similar to Diluc’s: having a low cooldown and dealing Elemental damage. On the other hand, her Elemental Burst is not quite like any. When activating her Burst, she immediately deals AoE Cryo DMG and creates a sword that follows her and increases in power for every attack Eula performs, and finally deals a powerful explosion of Physical DMG after the duration.
Our second new Genshin Impact character, Yanfei, is a 4-star Pyro-type Catalyst user. Coming from Liyue, she works as a legal adviser in the Harbor, and is known to have adepti blood within her, similar to Ganyu. She specializes in a barrage of Pyro-infused spells, burning enemies to a crisp.
As a catalyst user, Yanfei provides constant Pyro damage from her basic attacks, which is very useful for creating Elemental Reactions. Her basic attacks provide her with Scarlet Seals, expended whenever she performs a Charged Attack, enhancing its damage. This is somewhat similar to Ningguang’s Star Jades. Yanfei’s Elemental Skill deals AoE Pyro DMG and provides her with the maximum number of Scarlet Seals. Her Elemental Burst also deals damage and provides her with Scarlet Seals, but has an additional effect of giving her a constant stream of Scarlet Seals and increasing the damage of her Charged Attacks.
