In the present-day landscape of NBA free agency, it is becoming more and more of the norm for players to walk, as opposed to staying with their current club for more money and security. However, there are obvious exceptions to such trends, and there's a solid chance you can add Utah Jazz point guard George Hill to such a list.

Hill is set to be a free agent this summer, and while he hasn't fully committed to re-signing with the Jazz quite yet, the 31-year-old point guard sounded upbeat on a return to the club in which he enjoyed a career year with. In an interview with Andy Larsen of Salt Lake City Hoops, Hill praised his supporting cast in Utah, and sounded optimistic about re-upping with the Jazz.

“What's the best locker room for me, what team can I help the most,” Hill cited as factors in where he will sign in free agency. He added, “The group that I have here is more than enough.”

He also mentioned the re-signing of franchise forward Gordon Hayward as another factor on whether or not he would return to Utah.

“He’s like my little brother now,” Hill said to Jody Genessy of the Deseret News.

Hill averaged a career-high in points with 16.9 per game on 47.1 percent shooting on the floor, in addition to solid averages of 4.2 assists and 3.4 rebounds in just 31.5 minutes a game. He also proved to be one of the Jazz's most vital defensive players on a team ranked fourth in defensive efficiency.

However, Hill was riddled by injuries all season long, and missed 33 contests in the regular season in addition to the Jazz's last three playoff games against the Golden State Warriors. Despite his nagging injuries, Hill is expected to fetch a pretty penny on the free agent market.

But it's starting to seem more and more like it will be on the Jazz's dime.
