If Gordon Hayward is indeed lured to suit up for the Boston Celtics in this offseason, he'll have a hard time explaining why he said the five words no Bostonian wants to hear come out of anyone's mouth — “I can't stand Tom Brady.”

See the hard evidence below:

The 6-foot-8 wing candidly offered those words when given a choice between Brady and Aaron Rodgers during a part of pre-season media content for the Utah Jazz website — a tape that is sure to be played back for him within his first days with the organization if he chooses to leave.

Those five words resonate as pure blasphemy to the one star that has become the poster child of every young lad and grown man in the state of Massachusetts.

Even if Hayward and his former college coach Brad Stevens have an effortless relationship on the court, it's likely the Indianapolis native won't ever hear the end of it.

“I’m a Colts fan, so I can’t stand him just because he plays for the Patriots,” Hayward said in the interview. “I think he’s a good quarterback.”
